We encourage you to apply for assistantships in the Spring for the following academic year. While graduate assistantships are applied to your financial aid package, you must earn the scholarship, dedicating 12 hours per week toward the position.Ìý
To apply for an assistantship, submit one graduate assistant application to the dean's office and complete your FAFSA by the April 1 deadline. International students are not required to complete a FAFSA.Ìý The deans will review all the applications and conduct interviews.Ìý
If you are selected, you must submit the GA work contract and paperwork no later than the first day of classes. Scholarship funds will be awarded once Financial Aid receives the graduate assistantship contract.
