Do You Have A Will?

A will is important as it clearly states where you want all of your assets to go after you die.  If you have children, you decide who cares for them.

Commit to Doing What Needs To Be Done – Add Fun to the List

Do you remember the expression “that all work and no play made Jill a dull girl?” Jill knew that there was a time for play…that was after the work was done.  By setting priorities and goals for yourself and making a dedicated commitment to meet those goals, you benefit from reduced stress levels and increased free time to pursue those things you like to do, or do nothing at all should you choose.

Write down all the things that need to be done in order of their importance. The greater the importance of the task, the higher it goes on the list.  At the bottom of your “to do” list add your “play time.”   This is a great incentive to get things done.

Aromatherapy and You

Aromatherapy is a way to improve the quality of everyday living on many levels; physical, emotional and spiritual. Everyone has emotional responses to certain scents. Pleasing scents have always had a beneficial effect upon well-being.

The idea behind aromatherapy is to find the special scents, unique for each individual, that provide positive sensory feelings and emotions, and then, to introduce those scents into our everyday life to enhance our well-being. Essential oils impact us on all levels, some are relaxing, some invigorating, some lend themselves to romance or balance hormonal swings or improve memory, induce a meditative state and more.

Have you thought about starting a women’s group?   Maybe you stop yourself because you don’t know where to begin or have some idea but can’t seem to find the time to organize the group.    It does take some time to organize the group – though not as much as you may think – and the benefits all the women in the group receive are significant.

Women seem to naturally come together to share everyday activities.  Life is easier when you can shop, exercise or share a problem with a friend.  So creating a group around a specific topic feeds us emotionally.

Releasing Stress In Small Ways

The one thing that virtually all people have in common is the stress of living in this modern age.  So much has changed in the last 25 years.  Yet all generations had to grow up and take on the responsibilities of raising a family, making a living and figuring out their place in this complicated world.

Stress comes from several sources.  Obviously, the first place most people think is work.  We think of work as a source of stress because it is a place where making a living is important to our well-being.  There are daily demands, deadlines and schedules to be met.  In addition, most of us have to deal with at least one difficult person during our workdays, which only compound the stress.
